I have had 10+ years experience in running audio-visual data projection for a variety of events, Churches and conferences. Some of these are:
C3 Auckland
I have served at this Church from 2016 to early 2021 running data projection for Sunday Services using ProPresenter 6. I ran graphics, lyrics, Motion backgrounds, sermon notes, video playback.
Central Church
A new Church that started in 2015 at Hopetoun Alpha in Auckland city. I was involved in this Church from the beginning of 2015 when it started to mid 2016. I ran data projection most Sunday morning which included lyrics, graphics, sermon notes and video playback.
Cloud Festival
A festival event held in 2015 at QBE Stadium in Albany. I was involved most of the day running lyrics and video playback for the outside LED screens.
Elevate Christian Disability Trust
A Christian organisation reaching out to those with disabilities
Have run data projection for Elevate National Camp at Totara Springs, Matamata and a ministry under Elevate called Christian Fellowship For Disabled.
Festival One
I run lyrics for a number of bands for this multi day event in January at Mystery Creek Hamilton.
Inga Tuigamala – Former All Black
I ran data projection PowerPoint and video playback for Inga Tuigamala’s speaking engagements when he was based in Auckland, New Zealand. This included rugby clubs, rest homes, Churches and corporate events.
Keswick Summer Convention
A family camp held in Rotorua just after Christmas. I run PowerPoint, Video playback, song lyrics and motion backgrounds for this camp.
LIFE Church – A multi site Church in Auckland and Melbourne and currently New Zealand’s largest Church.
I ran data projection at LIFE from 2004 to 2015 for a number of Sunday services, conferences and locations. I ran PowerPoint, lyrics, graphics and Video playback. I was also involved in running audio-visual for LIFE Conference and Sistas Conference.
Momentum
A conference that ran for a couple of years at LIFE Church (old South campus) and Victory Convention Centre. I was involved with running lyrics, graphics and video playback.
Parachute Music Festival
This was a Christian music festival that ran yearly at Mystery Creek in Hamilton. I was involved from 2006 to 2014 running mainly lyrics for the outside LED screens for a number of bands including Casting Crowns, Gungor, Hillsong United, Hillsong Worship and Newsboys.
Software I use
I have a high spec Windows 11 gaming Laptop which is set up with ProPresenter 7 and PowerPoint I can plug in and use. Although if the venue that is used for the event has a ProPresenter set up on Windows or Mac I don’t mind using that system. I am very skilled in using ProPresenter versions 6 and 7.
I can now run a stage display for ProPresenter 7 (optional) from my laptop with NDI using another computer which would usually be the computer a Church normally uses for audio visual if this is usually connected to an audience screen and a foldback display screen which would be a TV or Projector. The NDI application can be freely downloaded and would need to be moved onto the stage display screen and maximized to full screen display to use.
PowerPoint – A Microsoft office program that presents slides and videos. I can use PowerPoint for small gatherings if this just involves running some slides with maybe a video or 2 embedded. I have a PowerPoint clicker available if the presenter/s would like to run the PowerPoint presentation themselves.
ProPresenter is a program that can do lyrics, motion backgrounds, stills, video playback, and message notes. I prefer using ProPresenter for medium to large events to deliver the best Audio-Visual experience which can also import PowerPoint slides but does not support the animations and transitions found in the PowerPoint program. Please do not use any animations or transitions for your slides if possible so I can import them into ProPresenter to run the PowerPoint Presentation.
I use the 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio for the best audio-visual experience. If you have any PowerPoint slides please adjust your slides accordingly to 16:9 format. If there are any videos to playback during your event please supply these in MOV or MP4 format and HD quality if possible.
I am happy to work within a team with other companies for larger events to deliver the best audio-visual experience possible.
Options for Data Projection
Many venues these days have a LED screen / data projector and projector screen set up or for a smaller venue a TV may be set up that I can plug into. If the venue does not have this or the screens need to be set up differently for a bigger event I have a few contacts that can supply the gear.
If the venue has a sound desk I can plug into for video / audio playback if I am using a LED screen or data projector that would be useful or it can be hired for a bigger event.
Hirage
For larger events, gear may need to be hired such as Data projectors, LED screens, Lights or Sound desks. Fortunately, I have some contacts in the industry that can supply this. The companies mentioned below will have their own pricing.

Brendan Quaife – Show Vision New Zealand
Have worked with Brendan and his crew on a few events like Parachute Music Festival, Cloud Festival, Festival One, Hillsong Young and Free worship night. He can provide full HD live video mixing and recording at a professional level as well as has contacts for hiring cameras, crew and equipment. Show Vision can also provide a live streaming service for the event.

1/2 day or evening: $250.00

Travel, accommodation, and food need to be provided for or covered if I am traveling out of Auckland City including airfares if I am flying to another city in New Zealand. I have a car and can drive to most other cities in the North Island but would need to look at flying for anything in the South Island.
If the event is in Rotorua I have the option of staying with my parents. So in this instance, only travel costs and some food would need to be covered as well as the cost mentioned above for my time.
For Christian conferences, events and festivals a discount can be negotiated as I am aware the Christian community run on a tight budget for these things. Please contact me directly to discuss your event and what you can afford for my services.
